Senior Assistance Program events set for September

Alamo RCD Area, Inc., Senior Assistance Program, sponsors the Free Food Pantry every month. The next Food Distribution is Thursday, Sept. 12, from noon to 1:30 p.m., at The Way Church, 7789 FM 1283, where all the programs are held.
The Fun & Fitness class is Tuesdays, Sept. 17 and 24, at 10:30 a.m.
The Sassy Granny Art Class is Tuesdays, Sept. 17 and 24, at 1:30 p.m.
The Lunch & Learn Potluck is Tuesday, Sept. 24, at noon.
The next Social Event will be Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 11 a.m.
Applicants must be 55-plus and reside in Bandera County. A 2024 registration is required and applicants can register at the door or on the website.
Covid-19 rules apply. First come, first served and supplies are limited. Each applicant must pick up their own, if board permission is not provided.
Alamo RCD seeks monetary donations for the purchase of food. Donors can help on the website: alamorcd.org; or by mailing a check to the address on the website. The organization is a 501(c)3 non-profit and all donations are tax deductible.
