Lakehills library displays newer art

Bobbie Jo Basinger’s oil paintings and her creative tole paintings have been added to, and are being exhibited during September in the Lakehills Area Library, located at 7200 FM 1283.
Basinger is a board member of the library and a retired Justice of the Peace. She began painting more than 40 years ago and has been serious about it for about 30 years. She finds it therapeutic in retirement.
The public is welcome to view Basinger’s new paintings and tole art during library hours.
Library hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
