Bandera Jewelers meets the neck-cessities of sparkle
Whether you’re shopping for a gift, or need a treasured piece mended, Bandera Jewelers offers a selection of fine jewelry for all occasions, and affordable repairs.
In addition to custom jewelry design, Bandera Jewelers owner Jordan Marcum provides expert service for broken clasps, rings and chains, resizings, watch battery replacements, and more. Marcum, who has been in the industry for a decade, also purchases precious metals on the spot. His wife and business partner, writer Tabitha Marcum, publishes a monthly newsletter with informative articles and store specials available only to subscribers. Via social media, the couple hosts a monthly outreach project chosen by their followers.
“What we are doing is allowing (on social media) the community to vote for an outreach each month that a portion of our profits will be going to. The winner of each month will be announced in our newsletter that comes out at the beginning of each month. It’s our way to give back to the community we love so much!,” Jordan Marcam said. “We currently have 26 outreaches on our list that we will cycle through each month as options for choices. Our hope is that eventually we will get to give to every one of them. We have also contacted Bandera High School about doing a raffle for our class rings for the class of 2025.”
Plans are underway for a party to ring in the holiday bling on Friday, Dec. 13, from 1-7 p.m., that include door prizes, special discounts, food and festive company. Watch the newsletter for more details.
Bandera Jewelers is at 660 Hwy 16 S, Bandera. Open hours are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. They are closed Saturdays and Sundays. All first responders, teachers, active military, veterans and service personnel receive a 20 percent discount.
