Big Give SA 2024 success for A Doggie 4 You

A Doggie 4 You, a nonprofit 501 c3 dog rescue in Pipe Creek, is proud to announce a successful 24 hours of online donations with the Big Give SA. An anonymous donor presented the rescue with a $14,500 matching/challenge grant opportunity to replace two of the three recently failed commercial HVAC units. We are so grateful for the donor’s grant as well as the public donations which surpassed the challenge level. The extra funds allowed the rescue to replace the third HVAC unit which was beginning to fail as well.
On Tuesday, Oct. 8, Two Brothers AC began installing the three new HVAC units in the two dog buildings. The AC firm came and completed the two day job in record time which made the dogs bark with joy. The fourth HVAC unit was installed by Two Brothers AC at the end of summer 2023. At that time, Two Brothers informed the rescue the three remaining commercial grade HVAC units were beginning to show signs of failure.
A Doggie 4 You is extremely grateful for the support it received during the Big Give. Because of the community’s generosity, the 180 homeless dogs currently housed at the rescue are now able to sleep comfortably at night and nap leisurely in comfort of the day. As the fall and winter approaches, the same HVAC units provide the heat the dogs need to stay healthy while seeking their forever homes.
