Bandera speech and debate team has great weekend at Jack C Hays tournament

The BHS speech and debate team had another great weekend at the Jack C Hays TFA tournament. Individual recognition goes to senior Isabella Chapa as a finalist in Congressional Debate, senior Micah McCreary as a finalist in Congressional Debate, and sophomore Aiden Garcia as a semi finalist in novice Extemporaneous Speaking.
Special congratulations goes to freshman Luke Parks, who placed fourth in novice Extemporaneous Speaking.
The full UIL academics, speech and debate teams will travel to the student activities conference on the UT campus this coming weekend as we prepare for our first regional meet in November.
