“It’s going to be bigger and better than last year,” Bandera Marshal Nancy De Foster said of the 2024 Nightmare on Maple Street.
With new plans that include cotton candy, a popcorn machine and extra entertainment, De Foster said she will open the far side of City Park for parking, and volunteers will shuttle trick-or-treaters to the main action.
“The Methodist Church and 11th Street [Cowboy Bar] will be holding events, so there will be a lot of traffic,” De Foster said, adding she encourages Nightmare parking inside the park.
Hosted by the Bandera Marshal’s Office, Nightmare on Maple Street will be Thursday, Oct. 31, from 5-7 p.m. Admission is free.
