Man dies in officer-involved shooting

On Friday, Nov. 1, a 68-year-old man was fatally wounded in an officer-involved shooting.
According to Bandera County Public Information Officer Laurie Blanchard, a call went through the Bandera County dispatch 911 call center at approximately 10:53 a.m. Friday.
“This call came in originally as a welfare check on this person,” Blanchard said in a press release. “This is all the information I can release at this time.”
This is an active investigation with the Texas Rangers.
