An uncle is trying to raise funds so he may return his nephew’s body to Nepal, to be with his parents. Sujit Shah was found deceased on Nov. 5, the morning after his car was swept off the road near PR 37 in a flash flood.
According to the GoFundMe page organized by Shree Sah, Shah recently moved to Texas from Alabama. The 20-year-old was headed home from work at the Hill Country Grocery Store in Lakehills, when he became trapped in his vehicle after it was swept off the road into high water at around 9 p.m., Nov. 4. His body was found the next day.
“During this difficult time, we are reaching out for your support. We require financial assistance to cover the expenses of his last rites and other related activities,” the GoFundMe page states.
