Bandera Library Happenings

By Paul A. Phelan
Bandera Kronkosky Public Library Director

Howdy to All!
Here are some dates for the calendar. The next Friends Book Fair is on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., so stop by and pick up some books.
Storytime is every Thursday at 10 a.m. Bring your little one by for a song, story and a fun themed craft.
Girls Who Code meets every Thursday at 4 p.m.
The Dungeons & Dragons Group meets each Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The adult Watercolor Group meets at 10 a.m. every Monday.
The Pokémon League meets every Monday at 4:30 p.m.
The Bandera Gardening Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m.
The Country Music Group meets at 10 a.m. every Wednesday.
I am excited to announce that the Bandera Library will be hosting a murder mystery party on Friday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m. The theme will be “Murder at the Christmas Feast.” Light refreshments will be provided.  Christmas-themed activities for the little ones will also be provided, so bring them along.
I would like to thank my friends from the Cedar Creek Nursing Facility for coming by in October. We all enjoyed a good ol’ Texas story, craft and refreshments. We hope to see them again soon for some more fun!
Finally, I would like to give a shout out to the Marshal’s Office for putting on the Nightmare on Maple Trunk or Treat. The Bandera Library team had a great time meeting folks and handing out books.
Until next time, happy reading!
