Boerne Performing Arts grand finale features Four Phantoms in concert

With the flurry of fun and activities that comes with the holiday season, music lovers will have one final, fortuitous opportunity to enjoy the high caliber of fine arts that Boerne Performing Arts has brought to the greater Boerne community for more than 12 years. At the Grand Finale performance on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m., at Samuel V. Champion High School Auditorium, patrons will welcome the phenomenal quartet The Four Phantoms in Concert for a final curtain call.
The four gentlemen who form this famous group are all veterans of the role of the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera which finished its 35 year stint last year as the longest-running musical on Broadway. The four featured performers Brent Barrett, John Cudia, Franc D’Ambrosio, and Ciarán Sheehan have performed the role in a combined 6,000 performances.
Fortunately for this show, they will not only perform signature songs from Broadway but also familiar holiday tunes with the finesse and formidable talent that they bring to the Broadway (and Boerne) stage. This being the holidays, they will also bring audiences the gift of guest artist Kaley Ann Voorhees, best known for her role on Broadway as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera. Presenting iconic Broadway selections and holiday favorites, the artists will be under the musical direction of orchestrator and arranger Ryan Shirar.
Adding to the fun for concert attendees, the always impressive Champion High School Orchestra will perform in the lobby pre-show and during intermission. Guests will also be able to admire artwork from BISD students and enjoy concessions from the CHS orchestra booster club.
Boerne Performing Arts has surely fulfilled its mission in not only this holiday special event, but in more than 12 years of performances bringing the world of performing arts to Boerne by presenting concerts that featured internationally acclaimed artists, educated through student outreach programs, and enriched the quality of life in the community. They are pleased to celebrate performing arts with this community of fellow fine arts fans through this Grand Finale concert.
Visit www.BoernePerformingArts.com for tickets ($60 - $40 - $30 - $20 student) and a preview of the artists. For questions, call Boerne Performing Arts Message Line at 830-331-9079.
