Museum holds Thanks & Giving Fundraiser

The Bandera Natural History and Art Museum and Bandera Brewery celebrated thanks and giving, after the two collaborated to host a seasonal fundraiser in the Brewery’s back courtyard.
Last Saturday, guests enjoyed a barbecue dinner of brisket and sausage prepared by B-Daddy’s BBQ, with a side of authentic Louisiana jambalaya, prepared by museum board chair Suzanne Jackson. The evening culminated in a lively auction, during which antique talavera and a hunt - donated by Mary and Juan Infante, and a fire pit - donated by Hevenor Lumber, were sold to the highest bidders. Proceeds from the event benefitted the museum.
The Bandera Natural History and Art Museum is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. After January, the museum will shift to its winter hours: Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m., closed Monday and Tuesday.
