Boys & Girls Clubs of Bandera County awarded $100,000 Technology Grant from Bridgestone
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bandera County will celebrate the holiday season with a big development for kids and teens on Friday, Dec. 6, when they unveil technology improvements made possible through a $100,000 donation from Bridgestone Retail Operations.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Bandera County is one of three clubs nationwide to receive a technology grant from Bridgestone this year. Funds supported the renovation of the club’s Teen Center, where students can now enjoy E-sports technology, lego robotics equipment, SmartBoards, and additional tools for interactive learning.
The unveiling will begin at 2 p.m. at the BGC Teen Center, 715 Maple Street, Bandera.
The donation is part of the Bridgestone Driving Great Futures initiative, which has raised more than $25 million to help kids and teens gain access to Boys & Girls Clubs resources across the U.S. since 2015.
