Country Christmas in the Park set for Sunday

The City of Bandera will host its first Country Christmas in the Park on Sunday, Dec. 1, at Bandera City Park.
From 4:30-6:30 p.m., the free community event will include a ceremonial lighting of the tree and park, live music from the Bandera High School Jazz Band, a gingerbread bounce house, a snow machine, face painting, scavenger hunt, carriage rides, refreshments, and a special visit with Santa.
The lights will remain lit throughout the holiday season.
~ Festivities continue on Saturday, Dec. 14, with the Cowboy Christmas Shopper’s Jubilee and the second annual Night Christmas Parade. From 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Bandera’s Main Street and 11th Street stores will be open for daytime and nighttime holiday shopping and strolling. At 6 p.m., the lighted parade will begin on Main Street.
