March 12, 1937 ~ November 26, 2024
Roxanne Szettella and Helen Stamper would like to inform the community of Bandera of the passing of their grandmother and mother Patricia E. Stamper.
Patricia E. Stamper of Bandera, formerly of San Antonio, passed away on Nov. 26, 2024 at the age of 87. She was born on March 12, 1937, in Miami, Arizona, where she grew up and graduated from high school before marrying and setting off on a life’s journey that included travel to Germany, England and Scotland.
Patricia was active with the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Eastern Star, Optimists, Stephen Ministry as well as her local church, Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. For many years she raised her family, managed Cole National Key shops, and also worked at Sears and QVC.
Patricia is preceded in death by grandson Eddy Szettella III; and son-in-law Joe Morgan III. She is survived by her daughters Valarie, Kathy, Cynthia and Helen; as well as 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the physicians and staff at Peterson Regional Medical Center and Peterson Hospice in Kerrville and Neptune Society for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, in San Antonio, at 2 p.m., on Dec. 6.
