Walk Through Bethlehem recreated in Lakehills
By Jessica Nohealapa’ahi
The Bandera Prophet
The City of Bethlehem was recreated during Walk Through Bethlehem Under the Stars. Held on the Lakehills Community Center grounds last Friday and Saturday evenings, the annual event was hosted by the Hill Country Samaritans.
Music performed by the Hill Country Samaritans Children’s Choir was featured, as well as live animals and interactive volunteers dressed in period costumes, replicating the busy streets of the small town less than seven miles from Jerusalem. Hot drinks, snacks and Mediterranean-style food were served, wrapping up the sights, sounds and smells of Christmas.
