Medina TAFE students shine at State Teach Tomorrow Summit, qualify for nationals

Medina High School’s Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) students demonstrated their skills and dedication at the State Teach Tomorrow Summit, earning top honors and securing spots at the national
competition.
TAFE (pronounced "taffy") is a statewide, co-curricular non-profit organization that allows students to explore careers in education. Established in 1984, TAFE provides high school and middle school students with the knowledge and experience needed to make informed decisions about becoming educators. Sponsored by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals, the organization is guided by a board of teachers, students and principals.
National Qualifiers from Medina High School:
Kloe Crowther – Elementary Interactive Bulletin Board (JV)
Audrey Gatlin & Mia Garcia – Elementary Interactive Bulletin Board (V)
Ella Castillo – Lesson Planning and Delivery – CTE
Ella Castillo – Lesson Planning and Delivery – ART
Sienna Carter – Job Interview
