ACE Wine Room to celebrate grand opening and ribbon cutting Friday

Celebrating their grand opening this Friday, Alyssa and Eric Cothran have already rooted themselves in Bandera’s Main Street business family. With a Paint & Sip event, book club meeting and a Girl Scout Cookie Pairing planned for this month, this Friday’s ribbon cutting is icing on the cake at ACE Wine Room.
Both Bandera High School graduates, Alyssa and Eric Cothran moved to continue their education, and returned in 2017 to raise their son Carson in their hometown. ACE, an acronym for “Alyssa, Carson, Eric,” was a goal the couple discussed for years. Last year, they were able to bring it to life.
“This has been a dream to reality situation, and we’re hoping to use this business as a way to give back to the community in ways we hadn’t been able to before,” Alyssa Cothran said.
The menu includes many wine choices, beer and frozen sangria, as well as non-alcohol drinks, charcuterie boards, kids’ meals and paninis. The next book club meeting will be Wednesday, March 19, from 6:30 - 8 p.m., to discuss Famous Last Words, by Gillian McAllister, over a glass of wine and charcuterie.
The ribbon cutting is set for Friday, March 7, at 5:30 p.m. The grand opening will be celebrated from 5-7 p.m., and the Wine Room will be open from 4-10 p.m. Festivities include door and raffle prizes, 10 percent off food and frozen sangria samples.

ACE Wine Room is at 812 B Main Street, Bandera. Their hours are Thursday from 4-9 p.m., Friday and Saturday, from 4-10 p.m. This Sunday, ACE will be open from noon to 4 p.m.
