Authorities investigating fatal crash

One person died yesterday in a car accident on Hwy. 16 in Bandera. According to Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Deon Cockrell, the preliminary investigation indicates that at approximately 2:02 p.m., on Thursday, April 10, the driver of a 1999 Toyota Tacoma pulled onto Hwy. 16 from a private drive and collided with a 2019 Dodge Ram 2500 traveling south.
The driver of the Toyota was pronounced deceased on scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
