Bandera city administrator tenders resignation

Bandera City Council members will convene in special session this afternoon to consider the resignation of City Administrator Stan Farmer.
Farmer has accepted a position as city manager in Converse, marking the end of his tenure in Bandera, which began in November 2023.
Farmer said his last day in Bandera will be no later than June 13.
Other items on the special meeting agenda include the appointment of a new municipal prosecutor, and the appointment of a new associate judge for municipal court. The meeting will begin at 5 p.m., in City Hall.
At 6 p.m., the Economic Development Corporation will hold a joint workshop with EDC Attorney Sara Kerr, followed by a regular meeting.
