GlowRow launches Hill Country location
Nighttime kayak tours on the Guadalupe River

Contributed

GlowRow, the Texas-based adventure tourism company that’s transformed coastal waters into glowing nighttime experiences, has officially launched its newest location in Kerrville, offering one-of-a-kind bat-viewing kayak tours along a constant-water-level section of the Guadalupe River.
Known for its LED-lit clear kayaks and patented glowing paddles, GlowRow brings its magic to the Hill Country underneath the famous “bat bridge” on Francisco Lemos Bridge at 116 FM 394, where thousands of bats emerge each evening and set the sky fluttering. Join bat/duck whisperer Vinny Mifsud, of Pipe Creek, as he guides guests through the water.
“We’ve always said that GlowRow isn't just a tour—it's a core memory,” Zachary Jurasek, founder of GlowRow, said. “Kerrville delivers something you can’t find anywhere else: calm, constant-level waters, beautiful bluff-lined riverbanks, and a nightly natural phenomenon that literally flies overhead.”
The Kerrville launch comes after the company was nominated for USA Today’s 10 Best Kayak Tours of 2025. This new location merges eco-adventure, safety and next-gen tech. Each kayak glows with more than 20,000 lumens, each tour includes a safety-certified guide, U.S. Coast Guard–compliant gear, and an onboard SOS flare system.
GlowRow tours in Kerrville are by reservation only for guests 18-plus. The bat tours run at dusk, just in time to witness the nocturnal show from both the water and sky.
Enjoy constant-level river and smooth paddling conditions year-round; a bat-viewing hotspot beneath the Francisco Lemos Bridge; and stunning Hill Country scenery without tidal complications or weather volatility. Ideal for first-time paddlers, couples, locals and out-of-town adventurers.
Tours are now open for reservations, from Thursday through Sunday evenings, featuring a bat tour at 8 p.m. and Glow Tours at 10:30 p.m.
