Lakehills Library for June

The Lakehills Library Community Garage Sale will be Saturday, May 31, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Vendors can rent a spot now by visiting or calling the library. Spaces start at $20 each.
There will be no Book Sale in June.
Summer Reading for youngsters will begin June 4, at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. and will run through July. The programs for June are: On the 4th, Joe McDermott Music; on the 11th, Clay Sculpting; on the 18th, Bernadette Nason Storyteller; and on the 25th, Plant Pot Painting.
Infant and Toddler Story Time will be every Friday morning at 9:30, with stories, songs and activities.
Kids Steam Camp registration is open for youngsters 8-10 years old. It will run from June 16-20, from 2-4 p.m. The cost is $15 and includes the camp shirt. Scholarships are available. Registration must be completed by June 9 at the front desk or by phone.
Garden Club is planning a Garden Tour and Raffle on Saturday, June 7. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased from the library.
Yarn Club is for those who enjoy any kind of needlework. They meet every Friday, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the library meeting room.
Christian Classic Literary Book Club meets every first and third Monday, June 2 and 16, 10-11:30 a.m.
Benefits Enrollment Center, brought by Silver Sage, will be available Wednesday, June 11, 10 a.m. to Noon, to provide application assistance for those over 65 or disabled.
Board meeting is Wednesday, June 11, at 4:30 p.m. The public is welcome.
Evening Book Club will meet Tuesday, June 24, at 5:30 to discuss “The Pale Faced Lie” by David Crow.
