Parishioners at St. Stanislaus Church practiced a long-standing Silesian tradition for the Feast of Corpus Christi on Sunday, June 22.
Following mass, parishioners proceeded outside and walked around the church grounds; stopping at various spots to listen to biblical texts, sing songs, and contemplate the Eucharist. They then returned to the Church for a final blessing.
Many wore traditional costumes representing their ancestral heritage. This Feast of Corpus Christi began in 1246, though the influence of St. Juliana of Liège.
