Independence Day events throughout Bandera County

The 29th annual Pet Parade will take place Friday, July 4, at Bandera City Park. Pets of all sizes, breeds and species are invited to attend and dress up in creative costume. From horses to fish, anything that can be lead, riden or carried is welcome.

Texas Salt Co. will remain open until 8 p.m., on July 4, during its inaugural First Friday event, with special discounts and a vendor marketplace. In Lakehills, the American Legion Post 410 will host its annual July 4 parade. The parade will begin at 11 a.m., on PR 37.
A chicken and sausage BBQ lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m., at the American Legion, featuring live music by the Wade Lowery Band from noon to 4 p.m. For more information on parade applications call Jim Schledorn at 210-289-1461 or email [email protected].
On Saturday, July 5, Bandera’s Independence Day Parade will begin at 11 a.m., on Main Street. The 4th of July Market on the courthouse lawn is also Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
