John Tucker and Kathleen Mary Butler are both exhibiting their artwork during the month of July at the Lakehills Area Library.
John Tucker is a popular woodworker who has been in business for 30 years. He sells hand carved items such as toys, chests, walking sticks, Western Caricatures, and so much more. He is displaying his works in, and on, the display case by the front door.
If interested in purchasing any of his items, he may be reached by phone at 830-535-6578 or by email at [email protected].
Kathleen Mary Butler is a familiar face at the library. Since 2002, she started out volunteering, then went on to becoming an employee. Now retired, she turned her hobby of watercolors into a full-time endeavor. She studied under the tutelage of the late Jim Black, where she gained knowledge of different techniques. As she gained confidence she is now prepared to exhibit her works. Four of her paintings are available for purchase, with more information at the front desk.
The Lakehills Area Library is located at 7200 FM 1283 and the phone is 830-510-2777.
Their hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
