Heather Farmer, the Civics Education Chair for the Hill Country League of Women Voters, will present up to date information about voting in Bandera County. The session is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 6 -  7:30 p.m., at the Lakehills Area Library, at 7200 FM 1283, Lakehills. There is no charge to attend and no registration is required.
The Voter 101 session will include the following information about the upcoming election on Nov. 4: Proposed Amendments to the Texas Constitution, Bandera ISD School Board, and Bandera City Council.
Seven topics will be covered: update on election laws; early voting and election day voting; voting by mail; provisional voting; voter registration and becoming a Volunteer Deputy Registrar (VDR); becoming a poll worker or poll watcher or poll monitor; and voter guides produced by the League of Women Voters.
