The Bandera Middle School Cross Country teams competed at Ingram this weekend. Ingram's course was difficult because of it's 1/2 mile uphill climb, but Bandera's athletes competed well. Over one-half of the runners set personal records, despite the difficult terrain.
The 7th grade girls placed 4th; behind the third place team by one point. The 8th grade girls placed 3rd with Sydney Bowman and Olivia Rynarzewski earning individual medals.
The 7th grade boys had their best finish of the year, placing 5th. The 8th grade boys did not have enough athletes to make a team, but all four runners set personal records. Rudy Esparza ran his 2 miles in 12:32 and placed 5th overall.
