Fourth annual Preston Schuetze Memorial Car Show set for Saturday

The fourth annual Preston Schuetze Memorial Car Show will be Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Helotes Fairgrounds, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is held in memory of Preston Schuetze, a victim of a fatal motorcycle accident in 2021, leaving behind his wife and three boys.
Proceeds will benefit trade school scholarships for graduating seniors and the Childrens Bereavement Center of South Texas. Last year, $12,000 was donated to the Children’s Bereavement Center.
Raffle tickets are available for (first prize) a Bay fishing trip for three, plus $800 in Airbnb gift cards; (second prize) a Trager 34 - Smoker/Grill with accessories; (third prize) RTIC 34-qt. Patriot Cooler and matching three-gallon drink dispenser/cooler; and more. The drawing will take place Sept. 27, and ticket holders need not be present to win. Tickets are $20, or six for $100. Admission is free, and there is no entry fee for show vehicles. Open to all cars, trucks and bikes. Registration is from 8-10 a.m., spectator voting from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Awards will be announced at 3 p.m.
