Pet Parade set for Saturday, Oct. 11

The 29th annual Pet Parade is set for Saturday, Oct. 11. Rescheduled from July 4, pets of all sizes, breeds and species are invited to attend and dress up in creative costume. From horses to fish, anything that can be lead, ridden or carried is welcome.
Costume categories include Star Spangled Honors, Best of the Wild West, Look-A-Like, Most Talented Pet, Most Original, and Favorite Storybook Character.
Registration begins at 9 a.m., judging is at 9:30 a.m. and the parade starts at 10 a.m. Admission to the park is free for Pet Parade participants and spectators. The Hill Country State Natural Area Junior Rangers will once again post the colors for the parade.
