Lakehills Library artists for October

Lakehills Area Library is hosting two artists for the month of October.
Merle Admire is a local photographer who has bee shooting pictures since High School. He said he “wants to tell a story, share an experience, stir an emotion, or make a memory.”
During the COVID shutdown, 17 members of his family shared their photographs to keep in tough with each other and friends. Some of the photos are represented at the library and he hopes the public will also enjoy them.
His company is All Creation Photo Works, and Admire can be reached at 210-213-9226.
Our second artist is 13-year-old Leonardo De La Cruz. He works in polymer clay, air clay sculptures, and mixed media sculptures.
De La Cruz is an eighth grader at Bandera Middle School, and he has loved art since he was 3 years old. His birthdays are exciting because of his supportive parents who give him more art supplies.
“When I grow up, I want to be a cartoon artist or a stop-motion animation artist to make kids happy,” De La Cruz said.
Stop by the library to check out De La Cruz’s work.
