Meals For Vets to host Hill Country Vet-Fest
November 1 fundraising event to honor veterans, military families

Meals For Vets will host its second-annual Hill Country Vet-Fest, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 1, at Marktplatz, in Fredericksburg.
Admission to the 2025 Vet-Fest is free.
Vet-Fest will feature:
A barbecue plate dinner from Backwoods BBQ, from 5 p.m. until sold out
Arts and crafts vendors
Food trucks
A bouncy house and an obstacle course
Face painting by Sunshine the Clown
More than 100 raffle bucket items

Schedule of live music:
Opening ceremony: Annie Cowart will sing the National Anthem (10 - 10:15 a.m.)
Don Faulkner (10:15 a.m. to noon)
Outlaw Firm (noon to 2:30 p.m.)
A. Wright (3 - 6 p.m.)
Chuck Wimer (7 - 10 p.m.)

Funds raised at Vet-Fest will be used towards the cost of meals as Meals For Vets continues helping Veterans and their families statewide.
Meals For Vets is a Veteran-founded 501(c)3 non-profit. It provides nutritious meals for hungry Texas Veterans, their families, and surviving spouses. Meals For Vets funds the meals through contracted meal providers including Mom’s Meals, Meals on Wheels, and more than 40 colleges and universities. Meals For Vets has paid for more than 419,000 meals across the Lone Star State.
