Bandera JV girls basketball bring home tournament championship

The Bandera Lady Bulldogs JV basketball team turned in a dominant defensive performance Saturday in Seguin, going 2-0 to bring home the JV tournament championship.
In the first game, the Bulldogs defeated Elgin, 38-19. Freshman Blu Rollo controlled the paint with 12 points and 11 rebounds, while junior Abigail Sizemore contributed 9 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 steals.
In the following game, Rollo again led the way on offense, scoring 19 points as Bandera downed Pleasanton, 46-9. Sophomore Ellie Voss starred defensively, recording 10 steals to go along with 11 points.
The team is now 3-0 on the season and will look to stay unbeaten Tuesday when they travel to Uvalde.
