Medina Bobcats are Bi-District Champions

The Medina Bobcats earned a big 74-26 victory over Runge on Friday night to become Bi-District Champions. The win keeps the 2025 season alive and advances the Bobcats to the Area Championship where they will take on May High School. Kickoff is set for Friday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m., at Marble Falls Faith Academy High School.
In other sports action, the Junior High Lady Cats and Bobcats defeated Utopia on Thursday, Nov. 13, to begin their season. It was a clean sweep as the Boys B team, Girls A team, and Boys A team were all victorious.
Lady Cat Varsity Volleyball also had a great week with all varsity athletes earning district honors and both senior athletes receiving Academic All-State honors.

  • Senior Audrey Gatlin – THSCA Academic All-State; District Co-Defensive Player of the Year, Academic All-District
  • Senior Kailey McCabe – THSCA Academic All-State; 1st Team All-District; Academic All-District
  • Junior Crista Zirkel – 1st Team All-District, Academic All-District
  • Freshman Keeley DeLeon – 2nd Team All-District; Academic All-District
  • Junior Georgia Hickman – Honorable Mention All-District; Academic All-District
  • Freshman Paige Arnold – Honorable Mention All-District; Academic All-District
  • Freshman Keira McFarland – Honorable Mention All-District; Academic All-District
