Flea Market and Art Sale at the Frontier Times Museum

By Rebecca Norton
Executive Director, Frontier Times Museum

It’s never too early to start your Christmas shopping. Whether you’re shopping for someone else or for yourself, the Frontier Times Museum will be hosting their 5th annual Dressed Flea Market and Art Sale on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 20 and 21. The sale happens during museum hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., on the museum grounds.
This annual event has become a not-to-be-missed tradition for shoppers looking for those hard-to-find treasures. This year's sale will feature vintage housewares, antique furniture and tools, out-of-print books, jewelry, antique textiles and clothing, and holiday decor. A large collection of art prints by Dalhart Windberg will also be available.
Along with Windberg, there will also be a variety of vintage prints and artwork for sale to appeal to a wide range of artistic aesthetics. Items are priced at bargain basement prices and have been donated to the museum just for the sale, including large lots from local antique dealers.
Proceeds from the sale help underwrite the museum's educational and historical programs and the care and upkeep of the museum's own dressed fleas. The Frontier Times Museum is located at 510 13th Street in Bandera, Texas.  For more information, please call 830-796-3864 or visit www.frontiertimesmuseum.org.
