Happy New Year!

The Bandera Prophet
For 23 years and counting, my family and I share with you our New Year welcoming.
As an idea for our Jan. 1, 2003 newspaper front page lead art, a colleague, friend and fellow photographer asked if I could capture the coming year in lights. What began as a professional challenge evolved into a family tradition that we have maintained every year since, and spans three generations. This year, my 5-year-old granddaughter makes her debut.
As always, the bloopers are a treasured part of our annual attempt. This year did not disappoint.
Happy New Year. May 2026 be kind to us all.
