David Guerra
April 10, 2004 ~ January 5, 2026
David Guerra, 21, was a resident of Pipe Creek, and a graduate of Bandera High School. Always known for a caring and giving heart and constant smile, David went on to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Dayton, Florida, and earned many awards and accolades for his academic achievements. He was two semesters from graduation when he fell ill before Christmas. David fought briefly a battle with leukemia. He did not lose the battle - he simply finally flew into space and landed in Heaven on Jan. 5.
He transitioned with his loving mother, father, sister, brother and many others from all over the world as he slipped the bonds of earth and reached up and touched the face of God. He is where he always wanted to be.
Among the stars - imagine his amazement.
While his departing is sad, we are all positively joyful in being blessed in his presence for the brief time he was on this Earth. His smile, giving and loving is something that will inspire us all as we think of him.
That is why he garners a special place in our "Positive Vibes" section and in the hearts of Bandera County. To see his legacy, please click https://banderanewzjunky.com/positive-vibes-video
David will be memorialized at the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University on Friday, Jan. 9, at 3 p.m. CST (4 p.m. EST) Follow this link to attend.
