The Bandera Lady Bulldog golf program continued its strong start to the season at the Schreiner University Golf Course. Against a competitive field and challenging course conditions, the Bulldogs secured a premier individual victory and saw significant individual improvement across the roster.
Pace Stands Alone on the Leaderboard
Isabella Pace delivered a dominant performance, firing a 79 to secure first place. In a testament to her consistency, Pace was the only golfer in the entire field to break into the 70s, ultimately clinching the individual title by a three-stroke margin. Her ability to navigate difficult scoring conditions proved to be the difference-maker on the day.
Team Growth and Personal Bests
The Lady Bulldogs also celebrated a milestone for Charley Joy, who recorded a personal best score during the round. Coaching staff expressed immense pride in the team’s collective grit, noting that the progress made in these tough environments is a positive indicator for the remainder of the season.
The Lady Bulldogs will look to maintain this winning momentum as they head into their next tournament.
