Medina Bobcats earn Silver Bracket championship

The Medina Junior High Bobcats participated in the District Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 7, and came away as Silver Bracket Champions. It was a thrilling day for the Bobcats as they won two close games to earn the title.
The first contest was a 32-31 victory over the rival Leakey Eagles to advance to the championship. The championship proved just as exhilarating with the Bobcats coming from a 9-point deficit at halftime to a win by a score of 33-28 when the final buzzer sounded.
