Bandera Varsity Bulldogs walk it off against Llano

It came down to the wire as Bandera Varsity Bulldogs grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 22-21, over Llano. The game was tied at 21 in the bottom of the seventh when Taylor Marrs singled, scoring one run.
Jasmine Longoria drove in four runners in the win. The leadoff hitter went 3-4 on the day.
Bandera Varsity Bulldogs opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to two singles. Bandera Varsity Bulldogs first got on the board when Riley Lalanne singled, scoring one run.
Bandera Varsity Bulldogs scored 14 runs on seven hits in the bottom of the second inning. Longoria tripled, scoring two runs, McKenna Jones drew a walk, scoring one run, Marrs drew a walk, scoring one run, Haily Livingston singled, scoring one run, Brille Silva drew a walk, scoring one run, Longoria doubled, scoring two runs, Jones was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Mia Ranly drew a walk, scoring one run, Marrs singled, scoring one run, and Livingston singled, scoring two runs.
Llano scored five runs on three hits in the top of the third inning. Smith drew a walk, scoring one run, #6 doubled, scoring two runs, and a steal of home scored two runs.
A walk by Riley Lalanne extended the Bandera Varsity Bulldogs lead to 16-5 in the bottom of the third inning.
Llano scored eight runs on four hits in the top of the fifth inning. #16 singled, scoring one run, #6 doubled, scoring two runs, Clopton drew a walk, scoring one run, Smith singled, scoring two runs, and #16 doubled, scoring two runs.
Llano flipped the game on its head in the top of the sixth, scoring five runs on two hits to take the lead, 19-16. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by #6 that drove in three.
Bandera Varsity Bulldogs flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the sixth, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 21-19. The biggest blow in the inning was a triple by Rehnahta Gomez that drove in three.
Smith homered to center field, which helped Llano tie the game at 21 in the top of the seventh.
Mia Ranly stepped in the circle first for Bandera Varsity Bulldogs. The starting pitcher gave up 17 hits and 21 runs (19 earned) over seven innings, striking out nine and walking 12. #12 led things off in the circle for Llano. The starting pitcher surrendered 14 hits and 23 runs (22 earned) over six and one-third innings, striking out nine and walking 18.
Bandera Varsity Bulldogs tallied 14 hits in the game. Longoria, Livingston, and Marrs each collected three hits for Bandera Varsity Bulldogs. Lalanne collected two hits for Bandera Varsity Bulldogs in three at bats. W paced Bandera Varsity Bulldogs with four walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, amassing 18 walks for the game. Bandera Varsity Bulldogs ran wild on the base paths, amassing four stolen bases for the game.
Llano accumulated 17 hits in the game. Smith, Clopton, #16, #7, and #6 each collected three hits for Llano. #6 led Llano with six runs batted in. The shortstop went 3-for-8 on the day. Whittenburg collected two hits for Llano in four at bats. Llano had patience at the plate, accumulating 12 walks for the game. Hoyt and Smith led the team with three walks each. Hoyt, Smith, Whittenburg, #16, #7, and #6 each stole multiple bases for Llano. Llano stole 28 bases in the game.
