The Latest at the Lakehills Library

Saturday, March 7: Book Sale 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the book barns will be open

Monday, March 9: Mature Drivers Class with Jessica Fabian from Texas A&M AgriLife 2-3 p.m., please call to register. This class is for seniors to learn what to look for as they age to make sure they are still a safe driver.

Thursday, March 19: Senior Social hosted by Alamo Resource Conservation and Development 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Saturday, March 21: Garden Club Plant Sale 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Presentation with Molly Keck: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: Bugs Every Garden Needs 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Monday, March 23: Goldrush with Bandera Jewelers. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bring in your unwanted gold, silver, and other precious metals and gems and Bandera Jewelers will buy them for market price. Bandera Jewelers donates a portion of their profits to the library to support our programs and services. 

Tuesday, March 24: Darren Bemis Independent Insurance Agent will have a Medicare seminar 10am-noon to help people 65-plus to understand what they need to do for their Medicare.

Thursday, March 26: Senior Lunch and Learn hosted by Alamo Resource Conservation and Development 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Saturday, March 28: Board Clean Up Day 9 a.m. to ? Volunteers wanted to join with the library board and staff to do some clean up and maintenance at the library.

The Lakehills Area Library is located at 7200 FM 1283.
Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
