Arthur Nagel Community Clinic named Non-Profit of the Year
The Arthur Nagel Community Clinic has been named Non-Profit of the Year by the Bandera County Chamber of Commerce.
The award recognizes the clinic’s commitment to improving the quality of health in Bandera and surrounding rural counties. As the region’s charitable health care safety net, the clinic provides primary care, preventive services, chronic disease management and behavioral health support across the Texas Hill Country.
“Every year the Bandera County community nominates and votes for organizations, individuals and businesses that impact the lives of residents in a positive way,” Chamber Executive Director James Hernandez said. “Win or lose, every nominee makes the list due to their hard work and dedication to this community. Being nominated means they have already won the hearts of Bandera County residents, and we feel it's important to acknowledge them with our annual Chamber Awards Ceremony.”
Sandra Imery, executive director of the Arthur Nagel Community Clinic, said the recognition reflects the dedication of the clinic’s team and the strength of the rural communities it serves.
“This award belongs to our staff, board members, volunteers and community partners who show up every day to care for our neighbors,” Imery said. “We are honored to serve Bandera and surrounding counties and remain committed to expanding access to compassionate, patient-centered care across the Texas Hill Country.”
Over the past year, the clinic expanded services across Bandera, Kendall, Kerr, Real, Medina and Uvalde counties, strengthening partnerships and increasing access to care for rural families.
Residents interested in becoming patients or scheduling an appointment are encouraged to contact the clinic directly by calling 830-796-3448 during regular business hours, Tuesday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
