Bulldogs capture district gold; Gherman sweeps sprints in dominant performance

The Bandera High School Varsity Boys Track team delivered a powerhouse performance at the District Track Meet this week, securing multiple gold medals and high-ranking finishes across both track and field events.
Sprint Dominance
Junior Breydan Gherman established himself as the premier sprinter in the district, capturing 1st Place in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes. Gherman’s speed anchored a successful day for the Bulldogs, which included a 1st Place finish in the 4x100m relay. The championship relay team featured Gherman alongside Ruffin Scartocci, Dalton Parks and Cooper Gunderman.

The Bulldogs' depth was on full display with several athletes securing podium finishes to qualify for the Area Meet:
Junior Varsity Success
The JV Bulldogs also made their mark, with 4th place finishes in the 4x100m relay, 4x400m relay, 800m (Cooper Cale), and Pole Vault (Josiah Lehman).
Up Next
The qualifying athletes will travel to Lago Vista next week to compete in the Area Meet.
