Bandera Girls Track displays unified strength at District Championship

The Bandera girls' track and field program showcased the power of the "We Are One" district philosophy at the District Meet on Wednesday. Competing strictly under the Bulldog banner, the team combined veteran leadership with a surging Junior Varsity squad to secure high-ranking finishes across the board.
"Our athletic identity is unified," Assistant Athletic Director - Head Girls Track and Field Coach Brooke Ashcraft said. "Whether it's Varsity or JV, sprint or field, we are all Bulldogs. Seeing our girls embrace that 'We Are One' spirit and turn it into personal records is what this program is all about."

Varsity Division Standings:
  • Milesia Casas: 1st Place, 400m; 1st Place, 800m (Personal Record)
  • 4x400m Relay (Robinson, Casas, Williams, Moore): 1st Place
  • Merry Robinson: 2nd Place, 100m (Personal Record); 2nd Place, 200m
  • Sydney Moore: 2nd Place, 400m; 2nd Place, 100m Hurdles
  • Madison Davis: 3rd Place, Discus; 5th Place, Shot Put
  • Cassi Williams: 4th Place, 300m Hurdles (Personal Record)
  • 4x200m Relay (Casas, Fried, Williams, Lawlis): 5th Place
  • 4x100m Relay (Casas, Battle, Lawlis, Albright): 6th Place
  • Pyper Barnard: 6th Place, High Jump (Tie)

Junior Varsity Division Standings:
  • Autumn Prater: 2nd Place, 200m
  • 4x400m Relay (Hinojo, Gilbert, Voss, Ashcraft): 2nd Place (Season Best)
  • 4x200m Relay (Hinojo, Jess, Prater, Ranly): 3rd Place
  • Ellie Voss: 4th Place, 400m (Personal Record)
  • Maci Haby: 4th Place, Pole Vault (Personal Record)
  • Addison Ashcraft: 5th Place, 400m (Personal Record); 5th Place, 800m (Personal Record)
  • Mariska Collazo: 5th Place, Triple Jump
  • Abigail Gilbert: 6th Place, 400m (Personal Record)

The Bulldogs now look forward to Area competition, continuing their season with the same unified focus that defined their district success.
