Bandera Natural History and Art Museum hosts Jurassic Jamboree
On Saturday, June 13, help celebrate the Bandera Natural History and Art Museum’s 10th anniversary at their first annual Jurassic Jamboree.
This trailblazing event promises to be a day of unforgettable family fun, as the museum transforms into a carnival setting of live music, magic shows, horseback riding, exotic animals, outdoor activities, food, games and more, amidst the backdrop of a prehistoric wonderland. Tune into The Ranch Radio, KRNH 92.3 FM, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., during their live broadcast from the museum grounds, and don’t miss special guest Dinosaur George and his traveling museum of real fossils and life-size replicas (https://www.facebook.com/DinosaurGeorge/).
Basic-plus admission is $14 per adult, $12 for seniors/veterans/military, $10 for students, and $9 for kids between 4 and 12 years old. Children 3 and younger are admitted free. Every paid admission includes five event tickets. Additional tickets are available for $1 each, or purchase an all-day, all-access event wristband for $20 per person. Admission also includes access to all regular attractions, such as the International Hall, walk-through dioramas, and New Spain Art exhibit.
