Bandera softball players earn individual district 27-4A athletic and academic honors

Following a challenging season on the diamond, several members of the Bandera Bulldogs softball program have been recognized for their individual determination and academic dedication with selections to the District 27-4A All-District and Academic teams.
These honors highlight the personal commitment of key players who continued to push themselves and represent Bandera with pride through every inning of a demanding schedule.
All-District Athletic Recognitions Leading the Bulldogs' individual efforts, junior Preslee Greenley earned First-Team All-District honors for her outstanding play and consistency on the field.
Sophomore Cerissa Fernandez and junior Becky Gomez both received Second-Team All-District honors, providing vital leadership and steady defensive play for the Bulldogs.
Earning Honorable Mention distinctions for their competitive focus, hard work, and resilience throughout the year were juniors Mia Ranly, Jasmine Longoria, Haily Livingston, and Riley LaLanne.
Academic All-District Excellence While the wins on the field were hard to come by this season, the program’s commitment to academic standards remained clear. Four Bulldogs earned Academic All-District honors, which requires maintaining a cumulative grade average of 90 or above during the competitive season.
This year’s Academic All-District honorees are:

• Preslee Greenley (Junior)
• Becky Gomez (Junior)
• Rehnahta Gomez (Junior)
• Riley LaLanne (Junior)

"We are proud of the persistence these players showed in the face of a tough season,” the Bandera coaching staff said. "More importantly, their success in the classroom proves they understand what it means to be true student-athletes. They continued to work hard and support one another as one."
