Cowboy Capital of the World celebrates National Day of the American Cowboy
Starting at 9 a.m. with a free chuck wagon cowboy breakfast on the Courthouse Lawn on Main Street, there will be plenty of fun, free activities to enjoy.
The Cattle Company Gunfighters will perform live shows at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Other events, exhibits and activities include a bucking bull, blacksmiths, Native American exhibits, Western craftsmen, a good old fashioned picker's circle with authentic cowboy songs and stories, and live bands.
The kids can participate in the Little Wranglers Stick-Horse Race, cowboy dress up, Little Wranglers Ranch Rodeo and more.
Afterwards head on over to the Mansfield Park Rodeo Arena and enjoy the free Ranch Rodeo hosted by the Ridin' the River Cowboy Fellowship. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., Rodeo starts at 7:30 p.m.
