Teacher - What a Title!

​On March 6, 2020, there were a lot of excited students in Bandera ISD. It was the Friday before spring break, and everyone - students and staff, alike - was ready for a break. Little did we know that March 6th would mark the last day that any of our Class of 2020 seniors would have an opportunity to attend school, go to prom, compete in a track meet, or sit in a crowd on the bleachers for a spring pep rally.​​

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

Dr. Seuss, pseudonym of Theodor Seuss Geisel, was born March 2, 1904, in Springfield, Mass. He was best known as an American writer and illustrator of children’s books. Geisel was rejected by 27 publishers before his first book, And to think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street, was accepted.

Sisters combine vision, talent to bring children’s book to life

Not all that came from last year’s shutdown was bad. Forced to slow down, many rediscovered precious time with family, moments otherwise lost in the minutiae of work and extracurricular activities. Two Lakehills sisters, both Bandera High School graduates, wrote a book.
