Man missing at Medina Lake

Authorities are continuing their search for a man missing at Medina Lake. He was last seen late Saturday night/early Sunday morning near Tiki Island.
According to Captain Jeff Carter, Game Warden with the Texas Parks and Wildlife, authorities were notified early Sunday morning in reference to a possible drowning. The man, whose identity has not been released, is 56 years old from Crystal City.
The man’s daughter, also whose identity is not being released, told the Prophet that her father - who was visiting friends at the lake - was in a boat with three other people when he fell out at about 2 a.m. Sunday morning. She said he was not swimming, and did not like the water.
“The game warden is looking and we are looking,” she said. “We cannot find him.”
Carter said rescuers will continue searching daily.
“We need prayers, and we need help,” his daughter said. “If anyone in the surrounding areas can, please help to try to find my father.”
