Texas game wardens have recovered the body of a man who had been missing in Medina Lake for eight days. Zenozio “Sandy” Calderon was found this morning at about 9:30 a.m.
Texas Game Warden Captain Jeff Carter said Calderon’s body surfaced in the same general location authorities had been searching for the last eight days.
“It’s been a long, hard week for us, and I know it has been for his family, as well,” Carter said.
Calderon, 56, fell out of a pontoon boat in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 28. He was at the lake visiting friends, his daughter said.
