Cross-Country
Medina ISD will host the first annual Medina Cross-County Relays on Friday, Aug. 16 at the Arms of Hope campus in Medina.
The event is scheduled to start at 8 a.m.
Football
The Bandera Bulldogs first scrimmage game will take place against Devine at Bulldog Stadium on Friday, Aug. 16, starting at 6 p.m. with the Freshman/JV teams and the varsity will follow at approximately 7 p.m.
Medina will face Zephyr on the road for their first scrimmage of the season as they take on Zephyr on Friday, Aug. 16.
Medina and Zephyr do have some history as they have met in the first round of the UIL football playoffs twice in the last three seasons.
Rodeo
The fourth and fifth events of the Bandera Rodeo Club Youth Rodeo Series 2019 will take place at Mansfield Park on Sat., August 17 and Sat., Aug. 24.
Books open at 7 a.m. with rodeo action starting at 9 a.m. Bull books will open at noon.
Volleyball
The Lady Bulldog varsity will play in the Boerne Invitational Tourney this Friday and Saturday and all three teams, freshman, JV and varsity, will host Hondo in their first home match of the season on Tuesday, Aug. 20
