Four candidates for Bandera City Council drew their places Monday morning. Incumbents Lynn Palmer and Tom McEachin, and Candice Witt and Cindy Lou Coffey picked their dominoes to determine their postitions on the ballot.
Nine people have filed for three available seats, which are currently held by Palmer, McEachin and Rebeca Gibson. Each seat is a two-year term. The candidates’ places are as follows: 1. Candice Witt; 2. Deborah Brown; 3. Lynn Palmer; 4. Tom McEachin; 5. Cindy Lou Coffey; 6. Alan Calaway; 7. Gunnar Witt; 8. Jerry Russe; 9. Rebeca Gibson.
The election, in which voters will also cast their ballots for Places 5, 6 and 7 (held by Brittany Hicks, Heidi Battle and Greg Butler - all of whom have reportedly filed) on the Bandera ISD Board of Trustees and 10 constitutional amendments, is Nov. 5. Early voting will begin Monday, Oct. 21 and end at the end of day on Friday, Nov. 1.
